ProCon Roofing offers our own workmanship warranties of up to 20 years. Additionally, we only use materials from top-tier suppliers like Firestone who offer their own full systems (material and labour) Red Shield Warranty of up to 30 years. It’s important to be able to obtain the warranty that is right for you and you must feel confident in the company you’re dealing with that they have the financial stability to fulfill their commitment to you should the situation arise. HOW CAN YOU ENSURE YOU DON’T VOID YOUR ROOF WARRANTY?
- Take the time to read your warranty – ask your contractor as many questions as you need to understand what is and isn’t covered and what your obligations are
- Performing regular maintenance – regular maintenance will prolong the life of any roof. Think of it as an oil change, even when you buy a brand new car, you still need to change the oil
- Performing regular inspections – these should be performed at least once a year, preferably twice. After winter is the most stressful season for any building
- Conducting additional inspections immediately after extreme hail, heavy rains, fires, etc.
- Assuring that your roof is kept clean and free of debris
- Do not allow unqualified people or businesses to maintain your roof
- Only deal with firms who stand behind their work
